What weight of Monofilament line do I need to make a helium filled balloon arch about 50 ft long?

Fishing Line Strength for Large Balloon Arch

Monofilament or fishing line comes in strengths from 2lb up to 80lb. For smaller designs a weight of 25lb is sufficient.

However, for an arch about 50ft long, I would suggest you use monofilament line with 40 to 50lb line weight, which corresponds to a line thickness between 0.45 mm and 0.55 mm.
