Dimensions for a star shaped arch

We are doing an arch for Relay for Life. The track is approximately 12' wide and there will be 300+ cancer survivors walking through it. We are wanting to make it star shaped. Do you know the dimensions?

For a walk-through arch it's best to use either 1/2" PVC conduit or 1/2" aluminium rod.

Hi Amber,

I am afraid I can't help you much here, as I haven't done a star shaped walk through arch myself. There is a simple formula how to calculate the length of a normal arch that might give you some clues - you find it under balloon arch instructions.

You could also read through Balloonhq's section about balloon arches. There's more information about calculating the length of an arch.
