Is it possible to hang a small balloon drop net (200 balloons) with Clik-Clik magnets?

ANSWER:

There are two types of Clik-Clik magnets. The regular ones hold up to 5 lbs (2 kg). The Super ClicMagnets hold up to 10 lbs (4 kg).

I don't know exactly how much a small balloon drop net with 200 balloons weighs, but definitely less than 10 lbs.

So the Super ClickMagnets should be enough to hold your net.

However, to release the balloons, you need to tug sharply on the pull line. I am not sure if the magnets will be strong enough to resist the impact of the pulling.

Best thing is to try it. 😉

I did I 10 ft wide balloon drop and used eight 10lb clik-clik magnets spread out across the top. I laced the net so there was a pull line from each side so the monufikament line overlapped slightly in the middle, creating a curtain effect when the lines were pulled. I then put a clik clik magnet on the ceiling next to the wall for the line to run down and await the pull. It turned out awesome!
