Gaps on my Columns

by anna lopez
(coachella,ca)

I've tried to make a column of balloons, but I always seem to leave gaps where the bunches cross each other? Am I overinflating the balloons?

How to Avoid Gaps in Your Balloon Column
by: Margit

Hi Anna,

It's important to rotate each new cluster of balloons, so that the balloons fit snuggly into the spaces or "V" grooves where two balloons touch each other. Do not position each balloon cluster exactly on top of each other.

Apart from the positioning, overinflating can be another reason for having gaps within your column. In fact, Charles Prosper ("The Baron of Balloons") lists overinflating as one of his 7 Don'ts of balloon decorating.

Hope that helps,

Margit
