1. What's New on our Website: Balloon Games and Balloon Clipart

Balloon Games - Fun Guaranteed for Young and Old Alike

When did you last time have fun with a balloon game? At your 7th Birthday Party? Then it's about time to get you back into gaming mood!
There are lots of different games you can endulge in, both offline and online. Whether you need the perfect ice breaker for your next party, or want to release some stress with popping colourful balloons on your PC, we'll help you find the right game for you.

Balloon Clipart - All You Ever Need to Know

Did you know that 'royalty-free' (the most common license type for clipart) doesn't actually mean you can use the clipart for free? Only graphics explicitly marked as 'public domain' come without cost. Because finding balloon clipart can be a tedious task, I've put together a review of the 8 best balloon clipart resources on the net, with the following questions in mind:

  • How big is their selection of balloon clipart?
  • How easily do I find what I am looking for (in other words, how good is their search function)?
  • What are the license agreements?
  • How do I buy the content and what does it cost?
Read my reviews here.

2. Tip of the Month

If you create balloon columns with just a few balloons at the bottom and top end, you need a way to cover the pole between the balloons. A very elegant solution is to use colour matching fabric, sewn into a tube, and to run a string of lights inside the fabric tube. Alternatively, you can use a piece of plastic table cover layered under tulle or gossamer, with the lights between the two layers.

Two nice examples of this technique are in the photo archives of BalloonHQ. Search for photos 56381 and 54740. There is a search box in the top right corner of the page, named "Find photo/video by ID".

3. Dates to Remember

With all the Christmas decorations having appeared on the shelves, and the city streets sparkling with thousands of tiny lights, artfully draped into garlands, stars and snowmen, there is no need to remind you of the upcoming holiday season.

If you have balloons in mind as part of your decoration, then the Christmas & New Year section of our special Online Balloon Shop has some great bargains for you.

How about a shiny, snowflake shaped 18" foil balloon for just $2.49? Or a pack of 12 auto-inflate balloons for $6.99? Simply squeeze the balloon, give it a shake and watch it inflate itself.

4. Weird and Wonderful News from the World of Balloons

Now we've heard about balloon games, balloon clipart and balloon Christmas decorations. But have you ever seen an evening dress, utterly and completely made of balloons?

That's not possible you say? Then you are in for a surprise with the 2008 Balloon Couture Fashion Show. Enjoy!
