Suggested sizes stuffed animal for an 18" balloon

by Lisa

I'm thinking of stuffing balloons for some extra income and have 18" balloons, but no stuffing machine.

So I was wondering what size stuffed animal would be suggested to use? Is there any helpful advice, tips, or suggestions you have that could help me with this project I'm attempting!? Any help is much appreciated!

ANSWER:

Hi Lisa,

My suggestion would be that you get a few stuffed animals in different sizes, perhaps 10inch, 12 inch and 15 inch, and try to get them into the 18inch balloon.

The object should be small enough to "float" inside the balloon, i.e. to not be pressed against the balloon surface. If it's too small though, it won't look impressive enough.

You can read some more advice, especially about manually stuffing a balloon, on our page about stuffed balloons.

Good luck with your side business!
