The balloon stomping game is an age old favorite and chances are you played the game as kids yourself, with your parents having organized it at your tenth birthday party!

But that perhaps is the charm of the game.
It is ageless and you can continue playing it even when you are 60!

It is really easy to play. And it becomes all the more fun if you switch the normal balloons with some water balloons. Get a group of people on a platform or a restricted area. What you have to do is tie two balloons on each person’s ankles and press the play button on your music system.

As long as the music plays, the players have to jump around and stomp the balloons of the other contestants, while trying to save their own balloons. Imagine how many giggles, screams, exclamations and applauses both playing and watching the game will cause.

Leaving out this game is quite unthinkable, given the amount of fun it brings to every party. So next time you think of organizing a party and have balloon games in it, be sure to include some good ol' stomping.

A pretty obvious, yet useful tip: if you go for the water balloon variation of the game, you will want to organize it outdoors. With all the water, it might get a little messy indoors. Play it on your lawn, in the backyard, by the pool or even in an open parking lot. Keep enough balloons filled with water so that more and more guests can join in while the game is on.

If playing the game outdoors is not possible (because it's freezing cold, for example), there is always the alternative to use air filled balloons.

For the balloon stomping game, all you need to get are a few balloons, some thread and a water hose. Get these materials in place and you are ready to go!
