Balloon flower

by maria
(sc, usa)

Hi!! I'm part of a Spring Fling team who needs to decorate our table. One of my ideas is to incorporate tissue paper flowers with floating balloons. Picture floating flowers overhead. We're not planning subtle here --ha-ha!!

My question is this; what will be the best bonding agent to attach the tissue paper flowers to the balloon without a lot of unwanted blow-outs? Obviously, hot glue gun is out of the question. I don't think regular glue will hold up. Does anyone have an idea?? Help!!

Cool Melt Glue Gun
by: Margit

Hi Maria,

Sounds like a nice idea to me! We use a cool melt glue gun to work with latex balloons, as demonstrated for our funny balloon face. Alternatively you could buy special balloon glue.

Good luck with your spring decorations.

Margit
