Balloon Columns On Custom Frame

Here is an example of simple "Balloon Columns". I used 11" and 40" latex balloons by Qualatex. Air filled ballons were wrapped on a custom wire frame by BargainDJ.Com. Lights were added to create the elegant effect. This display was used in a local wedding event.

Air filled balloons last much longer than helium filled balloons. The colors will turn chalky before the balloon loses its size due to air losses. I have had 11" latex last for days, still hold shape and when indoors, colors dont fade as quickly.

How long did it take you take me one column. How long do balloons inflated with air.

Yes..You are right. If using a Balloon Column indoors, you really dont need to use a "frame".
Just stack your clusters (which should be attached to monofiliment line)and add some weight at the bottom..However. I utilize my frames because its actually easier and faster to stack on the frame than it is to add them to a mono line..easier to handle also I never have to worry about the columns tipping or falling.
My frame is about the diameter of a pencil, so it reacts very similiar to a helium filled piece.

If the pillars are going INSIDE, you don't have to use frame work. Just pack them tightly and add a heavy water balloon at the bottom.
